Participating in Uncommon Journeys “Best of the West” vacation, we were given additional optional infromation to add to our experience. Neither mom nor I had ever been in a hot air balloon and decided that this was a GREAT place to try it for the first time! Mom laid out the extra dollars to Moab Adventures and UP, UP and AWAY we did go!

Most everyone asked me specifically to see these pictures. In the spirit of sharing, I have included a larger number of my images so that ALL can enjoy the beauty of Arches and Canyonlands National Parks from the air. These images certainly provide a different perspective than we had from the ground. Placed together in one’s mind, God’s creations become even more unique and beautiful!

Though everyday was a ‘get-up and go” day, this day was an “early to bed, early to rise” day! We met our transport at 6:20 AM in the hotel lobby and off we went! Yes, it WAS EARLY but it was DEFINITELY worth it! I was able to catch sunrise over Arches National Park and catch the early morning light and its glory throughout this awesome photographic jaunt over Canyonlands National Park.
