While traveling in the western United States and the national parks, visitors hope for and search for wildlife sightings. In addition to the artful creations shown in the previous blog post, we also saw western wildlife preserved by taxidermists.
As with the wildlife art, the taxidermist have preserved samples of wildlife that somehow alluded us throughout the trip. In this gallery you see a variety of western taxidermy that was found in West Yellowstone, Montana, the Oregon Trail Center in Idaho, and Jackson Hole, Wyoming.
