It was an honor and a privilege to be with Megan Simpson and Patrick Eggemeier during their weeding weekend at The Glen Willis in Frankfort, Kentucky. These pictures capture all of the events of their Fairytale Day, June 14, 2014, before, during and after the wedding ceremony. The Glen Willis is absolutely gorgeous venue for a wedding or any event. Here I share the perfection of this historic mansion for Megan’s wedding where elegance meets nature in a superb setting. With southern charm at its best, the Glen Willis provides a grand staircase, an immense back porch, and classy period characteristics that make this venue the very best of Frankfort. Inside the furnishings, lace curtains, many mirrors and decor worthy of any bride provide a warm elegant glow. Outside nature surrounds the mansion with several acres of groomed landscape that rolls down to the shores of the Kentucky River. The large shade trees and manicured grounds are focal point between nature and elegance that make The Glen Willis an exquisite choice for any wedding or event.
